This Gut-Health Smoothie is a delicious beverage I've began including in my diet 3-5 times per week to support my gut health!

 

I LOVE how I almost immediately get relief from gas, bloating, constipation, and tummy trouble with this smoothie-and I instantly feel energized and calmer upon drinking it, too!

 

This smoothie is CHOCK FULL of good bugs that aid in gut health, which ultimately supports optimal immune and whole body health and wellness!

Serves: 1 

INGREDIENTS

♦1 C. Low-Fat PLAIN Kefir; Double Fermented ( To Double Ferment, simply leave your Kefir out on the counter in a dim lit area for 24-36 hours, and then refrigerate again! This double fermentation eats up more than 95% of the milk "sugar" found in the Kefir and reduced the effective carbohydrate content down to less than 5g per serving!

♦1/2 Scoop Chocolate Flavored Whey Protein Isolate (Naturally sweetened with no fillers) OR 1/2 Scoop Plain Whey Protein Isolate + 1-2 T Cocoa Powder and a hefty pinch of quality mineral salt

♦1/4 C. Unsweetened Vanilla Cashew Milk

♦1 C. Crushed Ice

♦1 tsp. MCT Oil

♦1 tsp Collagen (Pastured Bovine Collagen is recommended)

♦1/2 C. Organic Raw Spinach Leaves

♦3 T. Natural Granulated Sweetener of Choice; More or Less to Taste

♦1/8-1/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon
