I'm excited to share with you one of the simpler (but crazy delicious) recipes from my upcoming cookbook (Everyday Favorites with Courtney- pre order sale starts Wednesday July 26th!).
This marinade is crazy delicious and doubles as a tantalizing dipping sauce for your cooked steak! We also enjoy this on dark meat chicken, pork and it's even fabulous on salmon! Be sure to reserve a few tablespoons for dipping the meat in after cooking- you're definitely going to want it!
-1/2 Cup Balsamic Vinegar (less than 2g carbs per T)
-1/4 Cup Bragg'a Liquid Aminos (or Soy Sauce)
- 2 T Avocado Oil
- 2 T Faux Sugar-Free Honey (or SF Maple Syrup)
- 3 T Minced Garlic
-1 tsp. Black Pepper
-1 tsp. Onion Powder
-1/8 tsp quality Powdered Stevia Extract
Mix all ingredients together with a whisk. Literally cover your meat of choice with the marinade, and let sit as long as possible- at least 6 hours in the refrigerator (I prefer overnight plus 6-8 hours)
When ready to cook, continue pouring on sauce in small batches during grilling/roasting/pan frying and use reserved sauce for dipping.
